Fellow Rotarians,
We’re calling audibles again. In the face of surging covid numbers, we returned to Zoom last week for the first time since June. Our own Jim Armstrong presented on the Club Foundation, including sharing new ideas for more member involvement with the grants process.
We hoped to get a dozen members out for the meeting. We nearly doubled that number. Thanks to all for attending and joining the conversation.
The plan is to stay on Zoom for our next two meetings—Jan. 21 and Feb. 4—and then reassess. We hope you can join.
In the meantime, I’m proud to announce a new initiative called Get Involved! Our goal is to double the number of members serving on committees and project task forces. Participation is easy, simply raise your hand to show interest and/or register for an upcoming planning meeting.
Some options to Get Involved:
- Join the Task Force on Finding a New Venue for our Club Meetings: Monday, Jan. 24 @ 4:30p Register here.
- Join the Task Force to plan our next Public Event/Fundraiser: Monday, Jan. 31 @ 4:30p. Register here.

Until then, I think you for all that you do for the community. Stay safe out there.
In service,
Matt
